I had a great day at The Craft Box at Elsecar Hertitage Centre on Sunday and was made to feel very special by Lynn, Gill, Holly and all the customers.

Thank you so much for the beautiful bouquet of flowers and my gift bag full of wonderful goodies. (Gill Im sure you will have noticed that the sweetie basket is unwrapped and half eaten - thats my Owen for you!!).

It was lovely to see crafting friends who come to my workshops in Leeds and also to meet lots of new crafters and show them the Craftwork Cards range.

Lynn's shop is really lovely, light airy and spacious but full with crafting goodies - well worth a visit and there are samples and ideas everywhere.

Thank you for making me feel so welcome and Im sure I will see you both soon.

Sorry for not posting!

Sorry for not posting much last week but I went away for a few days with Merv to Donnington Park to watch the British Moto GP and to attend the Day of Champions.
We had a fabulous time, got to see lots of the riders and I even bid for something at the auction. Unfortunately I got carried away with the moment and as soon as the auctioner started the bidding up went my hand and I was out bid.
We stayed at a wonderful bed and breakfast which was as nice as any hotel I have stayed at and the breakfast and people who run it, Sarah and Ian, where such lovely people and such good fun. I can recommend them if you need somewhere to stay in and around Derby. Check out their website. Thanks Rachel for sorting this out for us we really appreciate it.
The racing wasnt very exciting, my favourite rider James Toseland fell off at the first corner, its a long story but too much pressure springs to mind. Anyway my other hero Valentino came home second so he helped to soften the blow.
I promise to post some pictures of some cards very soon.

What a wonderful day!

I had such a great time up at Hobby Horse Crafts with Rachel and her mum Pam. I arrived on Friday afternoon to meet Sally, Joy and Ruth who were helping to set the hall up with Rachel and Pam.
It was lovely to meet so many of Rachel's customers and everyone was so friendly. I had a wonderful time demonstrating and showing lots of the Craftwork Cards products to all the customers on Saturday. The hall was buzzing with lots of people enjoying the other demonstrations from Paul, Gina and Melanie. Rachel also had tables set out to do make and takes where customers could make stunning cards that she had made.
Pam put on an amazing spread of food and lots of cakes from Joy made sure everyone was well feed and watered too.
The shop was busy all day too, all in all I think everyone had a fabulous time.
The picture is of a pressie that Ruth made for me, which was so kind of her and is in my studio now. Thanks again Ruth.
Thank you for such a wonderful day!

Judith's New Frames!

I love them! Designed by Judith Hannington for Craftwork Cards, produced onto white cardstock that is ready to be decorated. I love chalking them and adding details with glitter glues, coloured ones for the centres and Stardust for highlighting the embossed edge. Punch holes in mini messages and the frame and tie messages on with ribbon. Layer onto Bling card and finish decorating the frame with 3 dots of Stardust glitter glue for soft and subtle background pattern.
If you would like to use the Embossed Frames on your cards there are 4 designs to choose from: Flower, Star, Heart and Swirl - all gorgeous! Click here to see them.
Change the colour of the chalks and the bling cardstock and they look so so different. I have punched 3 small holes using my Japanese Screw Punch in the frame before laying it onto the turquoise card and tied a ribbon around the frame.
